What You'll Need
- Google Chrome
- An email address

Install the Extension
- Open Chrome Web Store
- Search "Opensure MarketFinder"
- Click Add to Chrome
- Done
Create Your Account
- Click the Marketfinder icon in Chrome
- Click Get Started
- Enter your email
- Check inbox, click verification link
- Set a password
Your account is ready. No IT tickets. No approval chains.
Connect Your Database (Optional)
Want to save your searches? Connect a free Supabase database.
- Go to supabase.com — create free account
- Create a new project (takes 2 minutes to provision)
- Go to Settings → Database
- Copy the Connection string (URI)
- In Opensure dashboard, go to Settings → Connectors
- Paste the connection string
- Click Test Connection → Save
Your credentials are encrypted. Opensure never stores them in plaintext.
Skip this step if you just want to try Marketfinder without saving data.
Use It
- Navigate to any business website
- Click the Marketfinder icon
- Click Scan This Business
- Get a ranked list of carriers likely to quote
- Click Save to My Database (if connected)
That's the whole workflow. Paste a business, get carriers.
What Gets Saved
If you connected a database:
- ✅ Business name, address, industry classification
- ✅ Carrier matches and search results
- ❌ NOT your policy data or client PII

Troubleshooting
Extension not showing up?
- Refresh the page
- Check Chrome extensions are enabled
- Make sure you're logged in
Database connection failed?
- Double-check the connection string
- Verify your Supabase project isn't paused
- Try regenerating the connection string
Scan not working on a site?
- Some sites block scrapers
- Try a different page on the same domain
- Report the issue: [email protected]
